Mario is an Investment Advisor and CEO of Burgeonvest Bick Securities Limited. Through an independent and entrepreneurial approach, he has been providing value to his clients by helping them to think strategically like long term business owners.

Through his extensive background in Corporate Finance, Investment Management (managing three separate Fund Management companies), Expert Witness services in the Securities Industry and as an Industry Strategist, Mario is able to help CEOs and Senior Executives to focus on a long term business strategy and translate that into an investment approach. Having additional licensing for Options and Discretionary Investment Management allows him to offer specialized services to clients.

Since 1981, Mario has been an active member of the financial services community serving as Chair for IIROC in Ontario District, as a Member of IIROC National Advisory Council, a Member IIROC Insurance Committee, and member of numerous IIROC Sub Committees. He has access to the highest level of sophistication in the industry due to the level of contacts within highest echelons of investment industry.

Named Croatian Canadian CEO of the Year in 2009, Mario is involved in senior capacities for fund raising for many community initiatives including the Burlington Hamilton United Way, Hamilton Rotary and McMaster University. He has coached both Football and Soccer and is an avid Hamilton Tiger Cat and Hamilton Bulldogs supporter.

Since 1985, Mario, his wife of 27 years and children have enjoyed living in Waterloo, Ontario.
